First, the photos that Ben Heller created for the press featuring the 1939 New York World's Fair are famous with me for their subversive message about the astronomical amount of money and bombast that went into building the exposition.  In 1939 the Depression was not yet over and the fair's "World" was an unstable and scary place at the threshhold of another World War.

[Here's another car that defies identification.  If you know the make, year, and model write to us!  The building appears to be the rear facade of the Consolidarted Edison Pavilion.  If you have more information about the pavilion and the architect who may have designed it, please write to us!
