No. 3

What can one say about this surreal homage to French fashion, the restoration of the Eiffel Tower, and two 1958 Ford Fairlanes photographed coming and going on the Champ de Mars in Paris?  This unattributed photomontage created for a two page spread advertising the 1958 Ford Fairlane, bears these headlines in print: "Nothing newer in the world of style" and the somewhat nuttier: "The Ford spoke French - and the French spoke Ford!"  Along with a low price point that promises the buyer a car that contains "every ounce of globe-girdling glamor."
