This is the front cabin of the1946 Ford Super Deluxe as seen through the lens of an in-house photographer working for the Ford Motor Company. His or her job was to produce a no-frills image that would be used as a visual record and guide for Ford mechanics and auto dealers.
There was no conscious effort to create a beautiful image. The in-house photographer was a professional expected to make a specific number of photos of a specific number of parts in a limited amount of time. The variables might be the size of the picture or the way the photo is finished, as seen here with sepia toning.
