This buoyant nighttime color image is more in keeping with the aspirational message of the 1939-40 New York World's Fair than Ben Heller's vision [see "Firestone Tires Pavillion".]  This is an excellent example of the work of Harry Warnecke (1903-1984) and his quest to bring "natural color photography" to the masses through dazzling rotogravure images in The New York Daily News.
